That's an interesting choice of music. I forgot about that piece, though, admittedly, I haven't played Super Metroid since I was living in Florida. To give an idea of how long ago that was, half of the album "Jagged Little Pill" was in constant rotation on the radio and the internet as we know it didn't exist. Even now, I can't think of Samus and Super Metroid without thinking about Alanis Morissette. As for the song, I normally don't care for slower stuff, but it's whimsical and unsettling, which fits so well with being underwater. I both love and hate underwater areas in video games. They're usually beautiful and scary at the same time.
