I really love the linework. Shading is fair enough.

Thank you!
Can't quite give it a 5 as it's a little rough on the shading details compared to the mummy rat etc.
Thank, found doing neat shading a little bit of a challenge
It's ok. Not quite my cup of tea. The abstractness of his face is neat.
Ty!
Spooky shit. It's a shame that original arts tend to get overshadowed by fan arts...
Thanks, I try to do fanart as little as possible, but it is fun to do at times!
Not that good at describing good art, but I think this is wonderful.
Thank you! I'm glad I did well with this one. Quite fond of rats!
Right arm is a bit jank and left thigh is little too bulbous. But everything else is pretty good.
true, ty
Mom!!??? Is that you? Oh good, I got Worms 2 for DINNER.
Yes son
Wow, Senpai, so good uWu.
Thank you, I think this is my first uWu, Im honoured
OK. THIS is SOLID. There is obviously room for improvement, but I can't overlook the awesome line-work and attention to shading. There is a lot of charm in the 'highschool coloring scheme' too. IDK what you term this style of shading. Lol. Pardon the expression. Also, I'm glad you got back into drawing stuff again! You shoulda told me earlier you whore =p
I draw to relief stress, usually, or if I got some stupid idea floating in my mind. I'm hoping to do some more of it once I get everything set up in my new home, but I'll also need to find myself a new job, and that will eat up free time like my job here did.
I know almost nothing about proper shading. I just color it to make it look okay-ish and I know almost nothing about properly coloring something, as well. A lazy amateur who likes to doodle.
I was really surprised by this particular one. At no point did I think it would turn out this well. I just wish I had found one of my rulers to straighten those lines for the character select screen background I gave it. After doing a lot of packing for the move, I found five rulers in various boxes, including the metal one I thought I lost over a decade ago. Oh well.
Thanks again, Alex, for the strong encouragement. I'm half tempted to pull my pencils out of... well, whichever box I put them in, and draw something right now. It just seems like a bad idea to be taking things back out when I haven't made the move yet. That and I don't know what to draw.
For sketches these are pretty baller. I kinda like em better when they aren't colored in. Maybe a nice paint-fill/scan thingy would make em cooler? Dunno. I don't wanna come off as a nepotist and give this a 5/5, but it's damn close, in my books, to being real good. The two cat characters, example, are REALLY nicely shaded in their faces. The rest is alright. I agree with Funky, the simple-ism is a breath of fresh air.
I have no clue what a paint-fill/scan thingy is. Is that basically scanning it and coloring it in with MS Paint?
It's only one cat and one pointy-eared dog. The second Cat Quest promised there would be dogs if the first game sold well enough and they certainly delivered on that promise. Now, a third game has been teased, so I'm kinda eager for that.
It was only meant to be the two in the middle. I never planned for the rest of that, but I hate having empty space and just started trying to fit more into it. I could have just as easily drawn some other, non-related doodles around them or moved on to another sheet of paper. I have plenty. I don't know. My brain don't always think so good, ya know?
Thank you very much for the honest, supportive words, Alex.
