Wow this mashup is f**king awesooome. Chop Sue is one of my fav's. The pitch isn't perfect, but the dissonance works well, also it resolves really nicely. Wow.

Some clicky artifacts here and there. Other than that, this is pretty cool. Love the swishing riser FX and the guitar is fire.

Some peeps don't appreciate the old-school muddy mix in their retro rock. And I gotta say it works extremely well here. Man this is some blast in the past epic rock.

Grooooovy. With some Metroid Prime vibes. Win! And an Ozzie Osborne feel.

Sykozealot responds:

Never played Metroid Prime come to think of it

Always love some genre mixes in my metal. Tricked me too lmao. 'Ruse' would be awesome with lyrics too. Also, that snare choice is killer. Nice kick too.

Man that harmony and slow tempo rock is such awesome retro metal. Nice work man.

Hehe I'm getting some Darkwing Duck (NES) vibes here. This is awesome.

Sykozealot responds:

funny you say that, I actually did a lets play of the "Darkwing Duck (NES)" game a long time ago

Well this is interesting, for what you got going so far. The arpreggio work is especially cool.

Hearing some clipping artifacts at 1:24 to 2:00 ; 3:04. Seem to happen on a snare sample or something. Other than that I like the progression and mood swings that fit the description nicely. Very cool 2-phase boss theme.

Sykozealot responds:

I went back and fixed the Artifacts you were talking about...it was that sneaky snare, when I went into half time and extended the sound for some reason at the end of the snare sound it has a cutting noise

This for an original game or just for shits n giggles? This is real tight, especially the 1:01 mark. This is mixed a tad too loud I think. Maybe a 0.2 dB reduction will help on master mix. Or at least on the drums and bass.

Sykozealot responds:

Just for fun,and to practice using Gennybeta and YM2612 VSTs

I have reduced the db for the Kick Drum and Snare and slightly on both basses...yes there are two different basses playing at the same time lol
