Hey, the description actually fits this tune to a tee. Nice. I like that it meanders a bit. Keeps the listener on their toes. Problem is that 1:51 and onward kinda goes on autopilot. I know you got more up your sleeve than that dood. Keep at 'er.

It's aight. Needs a little something more to elevate it above the rest imo. But this is a great groundwork for something good.

Hello Metroid vibes. Can't go wrong with that.

Black Void does what it sets out to do, which is create a spooky AF ambient soundscape. This is definitely videogame material right here.

Neboo responds:

Thanks! I am actually getting into videogame music rn... I am making audio for a videogame development club at my school rn so... expect more of that

Man, everyone else needs to pick up the slack for votes/scores. I can't keep up with the flood of new tunes lol...right...

Maybe I'm biased against the genre of Trance but man that introduction takes up a third of the tune. At this point it feels more like 'dark ambient'. Not a bad thing, b/c it kept me engaged nonetheless. Feels a lot like chillstep too. at 2:04 to 2:50~

3:00 is where we get to the meat of the tune. Seems to be way too much distortion which is causing clipping etc. Think it's the bass and some other support synth. Fix that issue at 3:00-end and I'll give you a bigger score!

Neboo responds:

Thanks man! Ill probably upload a fixed version with your feedback!

i liKe eXpeRiMeNtAl stuff. FL Studio 20 eh? I'm on still on 12. This would work very well in a game or a trippy NG movie. Nothing really offended the ear. No clipping etc.

Thanks for your comment. Could you support my friend by following? Thanks! :)

Gario goodness right here. Some of the leads can be grating at times, but it's a pretty solid remix imo.

Hey! I think I remember this tune. Wasn't this for a PRC or MnP? Could be a derp on my part. Lovin that chiptune aesthetic and all the synths + orchestral elements. Beat is functional. The countermelody of the source tune is captured perfectly here! Nice work man. 1:40 that new lead synth is excellent. It just keeps better... 2:14 has some very high pitched things that hurt the ears. Might wanna look into that.

Gario responds:

It was made in response to a BUNCH of Laguna remixes showing up simultaneously on the OCR boards ages ago. I think you even had one up at the time, lol; this remix was kind of memed into existence. :P

Tempo shifts are so under-rated. So many ppl bitch about that and say its distracting. But not moi.

Got some interesting textures here. Drums are a bit generic, but I do appreciate the hi-pass automating cut-off you put on them during at 2:04. Which incidentally is where the tempo change happens. You made a seamless transition there. I better take notes...

This ebbs and flows nicely.

ST3O responds:

Wow, thanks for the review. Fully agree with you about the tempo shifts.

Not hearing enough bubbles here. 0/1000000
It does have a lake-side/beach vibe to it. Very synthwave-y. Love that 80's Crime 'N Punishment Bass sample. Them pads are also sexy. And flutey saws are sexy. Gr00vy.

Very crunchy and looks like you had lots of fun with cut-off frequencies and other filter FX. Gives it an old-radio vibe. For an "older piece", this is pretty damn good.

JoeliusNG responds:

Thanks, definitely one I had a lot of fun making!
